Astrolabe Games has revealed that a demo for the stealth game 'Evotinction,' developed by Spikewave Games, will be released on February 5th. Set in a dystopian near future, Evotinction is a tactical stealth simulation game that challenges players to navigate through 'HERE,' an autonomous research facility that has fallen victim to a sudden virus attack, turning the once harmless service robots, known as "Genies," hostile.

The protagonist, Dr. Liu, possesses elite hacking skills, capable of infiltrating and sabotaging the facility's controlling AI. With an arsenal of gadgets at his disposal, including signal scramblers, electromagnetic jammers, holographic decoys, malware transplantation, and friend-foe identification system rewriting, players can manipulate robots to their advantage. However, Dr. Liu's combat abilities are limited, emphasizing the need for stealthy progression to avoid detection.
