Two matches were held yesterday in the LPL Summer Split, where FPX defeated LNG 2:0, and JDG beat RA 2:1.
With this victory, FPX has extended their winning streak to four games, a sign of improvement over their performances at the beginning of this Split.
In detail, in game one of the match between FPX and LNG, LNG performed very well initially, taking the lead in both gold and kills. However, at 23 minutes, in a decisive team fight near the Dragon’s pit, FPX killed four champions, completely turning things around. Eleven minutes later, FPX again took out four champions, securing victory in this round.

In game two, at eight minutes, FPX utilized the mistakes of the top laner and support from LNG, allowing FPX to kill three champions, with Summit achieving a double kill. Six minutes later, Gnar continued to see a considerable advantage on the top lane and helped FPX secure a gold lead of 5k. The gold gap was extended to 11k in the closing moments when FPX killed four champions with only one loss and took the win in the game and match.
Between JDG and RA, before the match, JDG had seven wins and one loss, ranking third in the standings, while the underdog RA had two wins and five losses, ranking 13th.
In game one, RA outperformed JDG initially. Still, in a decisive team fight at 24 minutes, JDG 369 launched an incredible ultimate and helped JDG kill four champions while losing two, allowing JDG to stand out in this round.
In game two, RA made a sudden comeback, and at 21 minutes, they won a decisive team fight, bringing the match to a tie of 1:1.
In the decisive last game, JDG aced RA at 22 minutes after trailing RA in gold and took the win in both the game and match.
