Honor of Kings Challenger Cup: WB Eliminated MTG 4:1 in the Semifinals

The match between WB and MTG was held yesterday in the Playoffs for the 2022 Honor of Kings Challenger Cup, where WB defeated MTG 4:1 handily.

In game one, WB performed very well initially as they built an advantage in multiple skirmishes. At 12 minutes, WB Nuanyang on Lan killed MTG’s Miyamoto Musashi in a 1v1. Following that, WB killed Juggernaut and aced MTG, securing a victory in this round.

In game two, WB picked a lineup where Ma Chao played as the core. WB didn’t give their opponent much of a chance and won this round.

In game three, MTG gained a considerable advantage by the 20-minute mark. However, MTG’s ADC missed the opportunity to launch a final attack on the nexus. Following that, dramatically, WB turned things around and took the win in this round.

In game four, MTG made a comeback with excellent performance by Aguai’s Lv Bu pick, allowing MTG to secure a victory in this round.

However, in game five, WB continued its strong performance and led the gold by 3k at nine minutes. In the end, WB took the win in both the game and the match.

On October 6th, the tournament’s Finals will be held between WB and eStarPro.
