According to a letter from Alex Francois, Global Head of Competitive Operations at Riot Games, RNG will replay all three Group Stage matches by Sunday, May 15th.
This was due to “a discrepancy in the latency being reported in game logs” for all matches versus what was being experienced in the Busan venue.
The replacement games will be held beginning tomorrow (May 14th).
Francois said Riot Games “began closely examining the data from our reporting tools” after pro players questioned the latency levels following the initial games.
Previously, RNG was in fan discussions for days because some players wore earbuds rather than headphones in games. But Riot later clarified both are permittable, and there was a video monitoring system on site.
