Three matches were held yesterday in the KPL Summer Split, where WB defeated GK 3:2 in Group S, XYG swept AG 3:0 in Group A, and Hero beat VG 3:1 in the same group.
Between WB and GK, in game one, GK had an obvious advantage initially. At 12 minutes, they destroyed two base towers. However, afterward, GK Pengpeng made some mistakes, allowing WB to take advantage of them and ace GK, securing a victory in this round.
In game two, the two sides were closely matched. But in a decisive team fight, WB Zimo achieved a quadra kill, helping his team secure another victory.
In rounds three and four, GK bounced back with the excellent performances of Baishou and Menglan. In the decisive last game, WB Nuanyang did exceptionally well, helping WB secure a victory in both the game and the match.
In game five of the match, WB Nuanyang earned the MVP Award.
Between XYG and AG, XYG dominated the first game. Then, in games two and three, AG failed to find a way to counter XYG and lost each game within 15 minutes. In the end, XYG won the match with a clean sweep.
Between Hero and VG, Hero won the first game. In game two, VG dominated the game and took the win with 15:8 in kills. However, in games three and four, Hero returned to form and secured two more victories and took the match.
