Two matches were held yesterday in the KPL Summer Split, where eStarPro defeated KSG 3:0 in Group S and XYG swept WE 3:0 in Group A.
After the victory against KSG, eStarPro secured a spot in the Upper Bracket of the KPL Summer Playoffs, a spot in the Group Stage of the 2022 Honor of Kings Challenger Cup and a spot in the 2022 Honor of Kings World Champion Cup.
In game one of the match between eStarPro and KSG, eStarPro’s jungler Huahai on Meng Qi had a considerable advantage when facing his counterpart Miyamoto Musashi, allowing eStarPro to take the win in this round.
In round two, KSG dominated the pace early in the game and was close to a victory at 12 minutes when they destroyed two of eStarPro’s base towers. However, following that, eStarPro began to turn things around. At 24 minutes, eStarPro went on to destroy KSG’s base.
In game two of the match, eStarPro Ziyang earned the MVP Award.
In round three, eStarPro took the win with a considerable advantage and won the match.
Between XYG and WE, XYG secured an easy victory in game one. In round two, WE failed to pose much of a challenge to XYG, suffering a defeat. In round three, XYG dominated the game once again and won the round with 12:2 in kills, securing a victory in the match.
