The match between GK and EDG.M was held yesterday in the KPL Summer Playoffs, where GK defeated EDG.M 4:2, advancing to the Lower Bracket Semifinals.
In game one of the match, initially, GK went for a tower dive kill, but instead, EDG.M took the First Blood. In the mid-game, GK Menglan on Gongsun Li got a double kill, and following that, GK destroyed three base towers from EDG.M, securing a victory in this round. GK Pengpeng ended 1/1/6 and earned the MVP Award.
In game one, GK Pengpeng earned the MVP Award.
GK Pengpeng’s strength allowed his team to secure one more victory in round two, where he ended 4/0/8, earning the MVP Award once again.
In game three, EDG.M’s Guan Yu and Kai countered the lineup of Master Luban and Luban No.7 from GK, helping EDG.M take the win in this round.
In game four, GK started strong, quickly racking up three kills without a loss. GK then destroyed EDG.M’s nexus by only the 12-minute mark.
In game five, EDG.M came back and killed Storm Dragon King twice in the closing moments of the game, bringing the match to 3:2.
In game six, despite GK losing four champions when they invaded EDG.M’s base, GK didn’t rush and, eventually, secured a victory in both the game and the match.
